Richmond Winter Season 2011-12 (Men's & Women's)
The CHL Winter Season will begin in early September and run until the end of April. Both a men's league and a women's league will be offered Following are some of the details about the Winter Season:
- average of 1 game per week
- 1-1/4 hour ice slots for all leagues
- three stop time periods (10/15/15 minute stop-time periods- 3rd period length is dependent on amount of time remaining in ice time divided by 2- should approximate 15 minutes but may be slightly more or less)
- teams divided into different divisions by skill levels
- two referees for every game
- scorekeepers provided for every game
- complete statistics provided
- all teams make the playoffs
- 24 regular season games
- Playoffs best of 3 and best of 5 finals
- register as a team or as an individual
- players must be 19 years of age or older to participate

Team Costs: $10,100incl. HST for returning teams $10,250incl. HST - new teams - registration open
Payment Plan - if using the payment plan option your registration must include post dated cheques or a visa/mastercard number with authorization to bill the following: - $1500.00 Due on registration
- $3200.00 by Sep 15th
- $3200.00 by Nov 15th
- Remaining balance of Either $2200.00/$2350.00 Due by Jan 15th
- any overdue fees are subject to interest charges (5%) and/or expulsion from the league

Individual Costs: price $700.00
Individual registrants will be placed on a team with other individual registrants. The team must have at least 15 players and 1 goalie registered to be viable.
- $350.00 due with registration (non-refundable unless the team is not viable)
- $350.00 due on Nov.15th
- if the team does not have enough registrants to be viable, full refunds will be given to all registrants
